Podrá dar testimonio escrito de que la firma puesta en un documento corresponde a la de la persona que la haya registrado ante él, previa confrontación de las dos. También podrá dar testimonio de que las firmas fueron puestas en su presencia, estableciendo la identidad de los firmantes. Artículo 73 Decreto 960 de 1970.

Requisitos:

• Asistir personalmente a la notaría. Puede hacerse también a domicilio.
• Llevar la cédula de ciudadanía.
• Llevar el documento original.
• Llevar la copia del documento que se va a autenticar.
